Our Moment

With city-host Gallagher Security

The Access Control Summit is where the global access control industry comes together — not for another conference, but for a focused, high-trust room of operators, executives, innovators, and builders shaping what's next.

This is our moment. The industry is moving fast — from doors to identity, from hardware to platforms, from legacy businesses to reinvention, from steady growth to capital-driven strategy shifts. ACS exists to meet that moment head-on.

Now in its fourth year — after Washington, DC; Zurich with Google; and San Sebastián with SALTO — ACS heads to New Zealand, hosted in collaboration with Gallagher Security. It's one of those destinations that makes the trip worth it: world-class scenery, incredible food and wine, and the kind of place people dream about visiting for years.

Session Types

Every speaker has one session, in one of three formats.

10 min

My View

A solo talk — your view, your voice. No slides, just you and the room.

15 min

1:1

A fireside-style conversation with Lee. Casual, candid, unscripted.

25 min

Panel

A moderated discussion with up to four speakers, built around a shared theme.

No formal prep calls

The best conversations at ACS happen when they're candid, not rehearsed. Here's what to expect instead:

  • PanelYou'll be introduced to your fellow panelists by email ahead of time.
  • Panel / 1:1You'll receive a sense of the questions that will be asked — enough to feel prepared, not scripted.
  • My ViewWe'll work directly with you to shape your topic.

Getting There
& Staying

Flights, entry requirements, hotels, and what to pack.

Flying In

Most international flights land in Auckland. If you're joining the optional Monday or Thursday activities, plan to fly into Auckland and take the hosted coach from there.

Coach Transfer

We've got you covered — hosted coach transfer is provided from Auckland to Hamilton on Monday, October 5, and back to Auckland on Thursday, October 8. No need to rent a car.

Entry Requirements

Most visa-waiver-country travelers will need a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA), applied for online before departure. Even if your country doesn't require a visa, the NZeTA is still required — worth applying early.

Where to Stay

For the event itself, Hamilton is the way to go — it puts you right in the middle of everything, just a short walk from BNZ Theatre.
